Farmer’s Market for Picky Eaters

Blessed is the parent whose child skips the picky eating stage.
I had prematurely counted myself among this kind when my 1½ half year old son was happily chomping down whatever I’d place in front of him. Never would I have to suffer through the kids’ menus, the freezer packs of chicken nuggets, the plates of plain buttered noodles. I was convinced that we were somehow different. How wrong I was. Our good eater turned two and the “no green stuff” era (as in quesadilla, no green stuff) began. To combat this scourge, I consulted all the experts and tried everything.
