Yucky weather, yummy jeans

I’m not the sort to get excited about Fall’s arrival. I like temperatures well into the 80′s so 50 and rainy is far from my ideal. Not to mention my entire family has seasonal allergies and we spend the months of October-December sick with every virus that comes near our allergy-suppressed immune systems.
However, even I get excited by the idea of trading my shorts and tank tops for a pair of hip blue jeans and a v-neck long sleeved t-shirt. I might not like the temperatures but I do like the clothes that come with it. There’s just something about pulling on jeans after a full summer of shorts that feels so right. So I was excited to receive a new pair in the mail.
These jeans are Denizen, made by Levi, sold at Target. This is a great place to start because I love shopping at Target (I know, but I do!) and Levi’s have been my brand of choice since I was in Jr. High (ok, so I’m faithful). And to be honest, I love my new pair of Denizens.
What can I really say? Maybe I’m just too easy to please, but jeans are more or less a pair of jeans to me. But I did notice two things right away. First, I really like the color/wash. They seem more updated than my other pairs of jeans. Second, they fit me really really well – which is somewhat noteworthy because they arrived in the mail. The company asked for my size, I told them, and – wonder of wonders, they actually fit. 
If you’re reading this blog, chances are you’re a woman and you know that finding clothes that fit on the first try is nothing to sneeze at. And it also struck me that as I combed the net for other reviews of Denizen jeans I found all the other women saying the same thing – “I was surprised at how well they fit! I love the way they fit! I love the way I look and feel in them!” (They have mens’, boys’ and girls’ jeans too).
So there you have it folks. As I write it is cold and rainy, I’m drinking hot chocolate, and apple-pie baking is on my agenda. Fall is here. At least I have a cool pair of jeans to wear while I wait for the allergies to hit.
