Fall Children’s Resales

Looking for the best back to school deals? Check out these local children’s resales coming up the next few weekends:

Saturday September 11th:

Double Blessing: Mothers of Twins Club- Dupage County Fairgrounds 7am to 1pm

Dupage Mothers and More- Dupage County Fairgrounds 7:30am to 2:30pm

StepByStep Early Childhood Playgroup- Dupage County Fairgrounds 7:15am to 2pm

Saturday September 18th:

First Church of the Navarene (Lemont, IL) 9am to Noon

You will find thousands of gently used children’s clothes (baby to size 16), costumes, toys, electronic games, DVD’s, CD’s, books, furniture, bedding, sports equipment and more!

Be sure to check the web pages for details.  Most resales are cash only.  Be sure to bring a laundry basket but NOT your children (although some allow kids- just check the sites).  It gets too crowded and you want to be able to shift through the mountains of clothing.  Some have half price sales towards the end of the day too.

I ( and Cath too) have almost fully clothed my children from stuff from the First Church Resale (in Lemont).  It is HUGE and reasonable and the clothing is very high quality.  TOTALLY worth the 30min drive.  I haven’t been to the Dupage Fairgrounds sales before but I know LOTS of people swear by them.  And in this economy, I’m sure we are all trying to make those dollars stretch.
