Reflection- WPF

I just recently found this picture when looking through some old files preparing to FINALLY put some pics in albums for my boys. I love his expression and the fact that he is simply standing in front of a mirror and watching himself eat Cheerios. What a little boy! The funny part is, even though this picture is over a year old, he still loves to watch his face in a mirror. When at karate class and doing exercises in front of a mirror to work on form, my little guy is instead watching his face in the mirror and studying the way his head moves back an forth. Am I raising a future narcissist or just a preschooler that finds his own face fascinating?
I did the same thing as a child and even into my college years. My mom noticed I was practicing my facial expressions. She said that is why I went into drama/theater…I had a great “face” for the stage! Maybe he will be an actor someday!
My 4 year old loves to watch herself too! And i remember being in grade school and still liking to watch myself in the mirror. Perhaps its built in so we can get to know who we are and what we look like to others.
