Disney on Ice is coming to Chicagoland once again!! Hubby and I took the boys to the show last fall and my preschooler was in awe the whole time. Truthfully, both Hubby and I were very impressed with the show. It was creative and entertaining with amazing skating and special effects. We all had a wonderful evening of family-friendly fun. Even my little guy, who was barely one at the time, was entranced by the lights and activity on the ice. Well, for a little while then he fell asleep. 
It was a magical evening, really, that had us smiling from ear to ear.
Because we had such a fabulous time at the previous Disney on Ice show, I am excited too for the new show which made its debut at the Un
ited Center last night. In addition to all your favorites they are adding the characters from Disney’s newest hit The Princess and the Frog. We haven’t seen the movie but we are excited to meet the characters and see a great show!
This party on ice was created by an all-star team of industry experts including choreographers who have created routines for Olympic medalists, Broadway costume designers and the hottest lighting and special effects artists.
Tickets for Chicago-area performances of Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate! are on sale at the United Center and Allstate Arena box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets, on-line at, and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Ticket prices are $15, $20 and $25, with V.I.P seats available for $45 on weekdays and $60 on weekends, and front row seats priced at $75. All opening night seats at both venues (excluding V.I.P. and front row) are $12. For general show information, call the United Center at (312) 455-4500 or the Allstate Arena at (847) 635-6601. What fun! Princess and the Frog was great–our girls loved it. So that will be a fun addition to the show.
Wow…what a great giveaway! My kids are 10, 8 and 5…and my 5 year old has been DYING to go to see Disney on Ice.
About me? What to say — I work from home, volunteer tons at my kids’ school, love to craft (quilt, sew, scrapbook, etc) when I have the time…but find I’m spending far too much time on Facebook.
We saw a Disney on Ice show two years ago and my kids loved it. My daughter surprised me the other day by asking when we were going to do that again. I couldn’t believe she remembered it since she was four when we went. I guess it made quite an impression on her!
